Company being renamed Vonovia
Information to the Media
Bochum, September 2, 2015. Deutsche Annington has started the process of being renamed Vonovia. The Deutsche Annington Immobilien SE holding company now goes by the name of Vonovia SE. The new company name was added to the Commercial Register at the end of August and Germany's leading residential real estate company will be listed on the German stock exchange under its new name and the abbreviation VNA from September 3. The first signs bearing the new company logo were put up at the company's Bochum headquarters today.
Vonovia is the result of the merger between Deutsche Annington and GAGFAH. The new name was approved at the Annual General Meeting on April 30. Its corporate design is characterised by petrol blue as the primary colour. "The brand positioning is based on our new identity and corporate mission statement. Our intentionally reducing the logo down to the lettering and doing away with additional elements is our way of communicating what we intend to focus on, namely our customers," explains Rolf Buch, CEO of Vonovia SE.
In terms of business operations, i.e. in the regions throughout Germany, the name Vonovia will be adopted at the turn of the year, after which the new brand will be visible across the board, both in internal and external communications. "We will take a grounded approach to introducing the brand - keeping our sights firmly set on the interests of our tenants," says Rolf Buch.
