Competition Authorities clear planned merger with conwert

Bochum, 28 October 2016 - The Austrian Federal Competition Authority has cleared the planned merger of Vonovia SE ('Vonovia') and conwert Immobilien Invest SE ('conwert') on the 28th of October 2016. The German Federal Cartel Office already gave its approval on the 6th of October 2016. Vonovia and conwert entered a Business Combination Agreement on the 5th of September 2016.

The approval of both Competition Authorities is a precondition for the completion of the voluntary public takeover offer to conwert shareholders.
